Boygirlparty give away!

May 22nd, 2009

It’s the first time I’ve ever done this, and it’s already shaping up to be a lot of fun:

Orders placed now through May 29th in the Boygirlparty shop are entered in a raffle give away to win a $25 gift certificate. Every purchase is an entry, so if you get 3 things from my shop, you’ve got 3 entries to win. Fun times! The winner will be notified on or before May 31st (my birthday)…Enjoy and good luck!

Also, I posted this quick & easy tutorial on making your own mini-sketchbook that you may enjoy as well.

the national stationery show & other news

May 15th, 2009

This week at the National Stationery Show, my work is being represented by Chronicle Books (Booth #3552) and iPop (Booth #3212) so if you’re headed out to New York for those incredible design festivities, please stop by and say hi!

Meanwhile, here on the west coast I’ve been designing / coding this site nonstop and am proud to present “Or you might like…” — the new way to browse the Boygirlparty Shop. On individual listings, just click the button on the upper right and take a random tour through Boygirlparty Shopland! (By the way, be sure to check out the hot-off-the-press Elephant Recipe Cards!)

AND, now that I have my painting arm back, I’m working on some new paintings and projects I’ll be excited to share with you in the coming months. For a sneak preview, check out my recently redesigned personal blog! Thank you for reading!

new shop + illustration sites

May 6th, 2009

hey! lots new in the site. namely:

a new illustration site with 35 slides of recent & award-winning work, a new CV and a new splash page.

Meanwhile, over in the shop we’ve got four new greeting card designs, two new eco-friendly to-do list note pads, seven new all-occasion labels (see the image below!), penguin & polar bear & snowy owl glass magnets, and so much more it’s almost ridiculous. http://shop.boygirlparty.com

the shoulder’s nearly healed, and i’m just starting to be able to paint again, so keep an eye out for much more to come soon!
