hello!

this saturday, february 3rd in portland, oregon, the wurst gallery hosts “the wurstminster dog show” – i’m in the show representing the shetland sheep dog, along with over 100 other artists and breeds. it’s a one night only show, so be sure to check it out if you’re in the area.

also, my art shows at domy books in houston, magpie in san diego, and receiver gallery in san francisco, ca are wrapping up this week.

i added a zillion new shirts and hoodies to the shop last night:

a new podcast went up a short time ago as well.

and i’m a contributor to this month’s sampler

and am working on new work for shows opening mid-february in san francisco, los angeles and portsmouth, nh. the line-up is as follows:

feb 3rd: “wurstminster dog show” at the ace hotel in portland, or
feb 7th: “enormous tiny art show” at nahcotta in portsmouth, nh
feb 17th: “free to a good home” cat themed art at gr2 in los angeles, ca.
feb 17th: “8×10″ drawn works at gr-sf in san francisco, ca

lastly, pre-orders are being accepted on website such as amazon and barnes + noble for my new collaboration with designer jennifer muller on chronicle books’ “my family, my journey”, a baby book for adoptive families. look see! it releases officially on april 7th, after which i’ll have some copies available as well. the book is fully illustrated cover to cover by me.

wow, the end of 2006 was amazing. stylehive nominated my shop as a top 5 indie gift, indieshopping interviewed me, and giant robot awarded me as fine artist for
2006!, not to mention all the kind blog mentions + wonderful people i met in los angeles at my last few engagements. AMAZING.
