boygirlparty.com: the news according to susie

Today I saw it’d been 5 weeks since I last posted an update. 5 weeks! That is completely inexcusable for someone who works 7 days a week. (That someone being me) — Attached are a bunch of photos of new jewelry for the shop, hot out of the kiln! These necklaces are all made of white bronze, which is an affordable, beautiful alternative to the rising costs of silver, just in the nick of time for holiday shopping and what not.

Speaking of holiday shopping, a sincere thank you for those of you choosing to buy from artists and independent businesses like mine this holiday! Your purchases are especially meaningful right now, as we’re handling vet bills for my loving cat and studio mascot Peechee who recently experienced heart failure. (He is sitting next to me snuggling as I write this!)

Another month has raced by as I’ve been hard at work on illustrations for a children’s book, designing new products, and drawing lots! I’m so excited to share all my new work with you — from necklaces & the narwhal brooch below to a slew of new to-do lists, notepads, cards, magnets and other fun stuff. Check it all out in in the shop & let me know what you like best! A few previews are below!

Shaping up to be a busy spring around here in the boygirlparty shop with new pocket mirror designs, new notecard sets, and a debut of a collection of coordinating animal notepads! Photos below, or check out all that’s new here!
